Giving birth is one of the most exciting moments of a woman's life. It is also an event that can cause a lot of anxiety from fear of the unknown. Many women will seek to prepare for labour through Hypnobirthing or Calmbirth courses and by drinking traditional herbs such as raspberry leaf tea.
NaturoBest's Birth Prep & Recovery contains two herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to help prepare the uterus for labour. Raspberry leaf has been shown in a clinical trial to reduce the second stage of labour (the pushing stage) by 9.6 minutes when taking 1.2 grams twice daily from 32 weeks of pregnancy (the amount found in Birth Prep & Recovery).
Squaw vine is a herb traditionally used to prepare for and facilitate labour. This herb is generally used in the last trimester of pregnancy and as a postpartum tonic for 6 weeks.
